Although reluctant to cut our fiberglass shower surround, following instructions were clear and found the first stud and mounted the grab bar. Second stud was not 16” away so after some engineering I got the second mount installed and job done.

This is an excellent product that provides for a truly secure mount with a fiberglass shower.
I first used this product in 2020 and was impressed by the quality as well as the precise instructions. I am equally happy about this purchase in 2024. This makes for a Very secure mount with a fiberglass shower.Finding the studs can be a bit tricky if you don't have access to the wall on the other side. The recent one I installed had stucco with wire on the backside and stud finding was a pain. This is how to install grab bars
Finding the studs behind your tub/shower may not be as simple as shown in the video so take your time to get it right. Very solid once mounted. Will use them again if I need to.

Beware of handbar size
